Hi, guys... I have decided to blog regularly.I really want to talk about my song sakhiye, Like most of the artists out there, I derive my inspiration for real life or my life situations...
I made the original song, Sakhiye for my kannada album with Pacche Najundaswamy...
I got the tune for the chorus while I was having dinner, Mom had made some Yummy curry,
Then i decided, Ill mix Hip Hop with indian Tabla, The hip hop inspiration from Smokey, a lead CrewMate of a Leading Indian Rap Crew Called MWA.
The final result was a brilliant track with flutes tabla and nice hippy bassline with cool hip hop beat.
I wasn't satisfied...I felt I hadnt done justice to the song, Pacche is a good singer, but I had made the track keeping me in mind, there was somethin missin( Just like the Indigo ad) and it was me. I decided i will make a dance version of sakhiye with english verses and kannada Chorus and also sing, for those who do not know, I am a good singer...and there it is i made my masterpiece..
